Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Category Manager for a remote contract role supporting data center infrastructure-related procurement.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing, RFPs, supplier negotiations, and award recommendations across engineering, construction, and category teams to align with project schedules. The role demands strong PM, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills, with hands-on use of SAP, Ariba, and iCertis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, contract management, or construction procurement.
• 3+ years supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, construction, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Proven experience managing RFPs, supplier negotiations, contract execution, purchase orders, change orders, and procurement risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with procurement and contract management systems such as SAP, Ariba, iCertis, or similar platforms.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFP development, bid evaluations, commercial analysis, supplier negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Manage procurement execution through Purchase Order Requests (PORs), Change Orders (CORs), contract administration, and governance compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, engineering, construction, and category management teams to ensure equipment procurement aligns with project schedules and requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement risks related to schedule, supplier capacity, pricing, commercial terms, and project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing procurement processes, standard operating procedures, training materials, and documentation.
