Job summary

Savan is seeking a Privacy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic leadership and technical expertise supporting enterprise federal privacy programs. This senior consulting role serves as a trusted adviser to executive leadership while overseeing complex privacy initiatives, managing project teams, and supporting business growth.

The Privacy SME will play a key role in ensuring successful program delivery, strengthening client relationships, and expanding Savan's federal privacy market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of federal privacy program experience.
• 8+ years applying Privacy Act, E-Government Act, FISMA, and related requirements.
• Experience leading enterprise privacy compliance initiatives.
• Experience managing client relationships and executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading consulting teams and mentoring staff.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic privacy guidance to senior government stakeholders.
• Lead enterprise privacy compliance efforts across programs and systems.
• Oversee PTAs, PIAs, SORNs, ISAs, and PRA documentation.
• Lead privacy risk assessments and compliance strategies.
• Develop privacy governance processes, policies, and best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with executive government stakeholders.
• Lead project teams, mentor staff, review deliverables, ensure execution.
• Support capture efforts, proposal development, staffing strategies, and client presentations.
• Stay current on evolving federal privacy regulations and emerging technologies.
