Job summary

Burtch Works is recruiting for a Principal Engineer - AI Security to lead our client's AI security strategy in a remote US-based role. You will drive defense against adversarial AI, automate vulnerability discovery, and shape detection, prevention, and response across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in security engineering, deep expertise in cyber defense, modern attack techniques, and enterprise security architecture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering or related field.
• Define and execute enterprise security strategy for AI threats.
• Ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• AI Security Strategy & Architecture: define enterprise strategy for defending against AI-enabled threats.
• Detection, Prevention & Response: develop scalable detection and response capabilities.
• Threat Research & Modeling: build AI-focused threat models and stay current on adversarial AI.
• Enterprise Collaboration & Influence: embed AI security requirements across teams and leadership.
• Engineering Standards & Leadership: establish AI security standards and mentor engineers.
