OpenTrain AI, Inc. seeks a Principal Engineer / Professor Technical Expert for a flexible remote contractor role to create and review difficult engineering and physical science problems used to evaluate AI systems.

This role pays $85 to $185 per hour and is open to experienced technical experts worldwide across listed countries. You will design problems and provide correct solutions with clear reasoning that another expert can verify, set objective criteria for consistent grading, and review

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in engineering, physics, materials, or a closely related field.
• Experience leading technical work at a major engineering organization, national lab, or faculty appointment.
• Ability to articulate reasoning and validate solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems in engineering or physical science disciplines.
• Provide correct solutions with clear reasoning that others can verify.
