Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a Principal Information Security Specialist to act as the SME and in-house advisor on complex security challenges. This role leads enterprise long-term solutions and aligns security initiatives with organizational goals.

You will collaborate with CHOP leadership, CIO/CTO/CISO, and clinical stakeholders to ensure governance, risk management, and robust information protection across the Hospital Technology Resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least twelve (12) years industry related experience in multitier environments.
• At least six (6) years experience with information security, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• At least three (3) years experience with Identity and Access Management or RBAC.
• Experience with Cloud and/or Virtualization technologies.
• At least three (3) years in matrixed high performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME to maintain understanding of CHOP DTS business and clinical applications.
• Provide independent analysis and long-term enterprise solutions aligned with objectives.
• Shape service lines in product area and manage risks to information assets.
• Collaborate with architects to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
• Support InfoSec standards for business continuity and change management.
