Job summary

ClinChoice is a global full-service CRO seeking a Senior/Principal Biostatistician Consultant to join one of our client programs. The role blends independent work with client-facing responsibilities, emphasizing quality, professional development, and a high-trust environment.

Responsibilities include protocol development, SAP creation, statistical oversight, data quality assurance, and writing robust statistical sections for reports.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field.
• High degree of technical competence.
• Understanding of Poisson regression or negative binomial methods, time to event, or multiple imputation methods.
• Competent in experimental design, descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Pharmaceutical or related industry experience with clinical trials.
• Vaccines or infectious disease experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent programming skills (SAS/R)

Responsibilities

• Serve as study statistician or support statistician on Bronchiectasis or Hepatitis B programs.
• Develop protocol, study design, sample size, randomization and SAP for assigned studies.
• Provide statistical oversight to studies and ensure quality and project alignment with requirements.
• Ensure data used for analyses is complete, accurate and consistent.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of statistical input into reports or decisions.
• Validate analyses and adapt methodologies for unforeseen circumstances.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, and data listings in reports.
• Prepare the statistics section of reports and ensure consistency with guidelines.
