JourneyPure Tennessee Virtual IOP in Tennessee is seeking a Part-Time Virtual Primary Therapist to provide telehealth services within our statewide Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program. The role includes biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and individual therapy with virtual group facilitation.

You will collaborate with a remote treatment team, adhere to telehealth procedures, and support clients toward sustained recovery using evidence-based approaches.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current Tennessee licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred; licensure welcome for both fully licensed and pre-licensed clinicians.
• Experience in substance use treatment or group facilitation preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a collaborative virtual team.
• Reliable internet and a private workspace suitable for telehealth services.
• Availability for an assigned morning or evening schedule.

Mansioni

• Conduct biopsychosocial and ASAM assessments.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
• Provide individual therapy and facilitate virtual psychoeducational and process groups.
• Use evidence-based, trauma-informed, and strength-based approaches to support recovery.
• Educate clients about substance use disorders, relapse prevention, and recovery strategies.
• Monitor client progress and make appropriate level-of-care recommendations.
• Coordinate care and make referrals for additional services when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team and participate in weekly treatment-team meetings.
• Follow all telehealth safety, confidentiality, and emergency-response procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
