Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Manager, Pricing and Underwriting to lead pricing, underwriting and risk analysis across the full scope of programs. You will develop pricing recommendations, supervise Supervisors and Analysts, and partner with cross-functional teams to support new business, renewals, client retention and RFPs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in pricing/underwriting in pharmacy benefit management, with at least 2 years in leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years pricing/underwriting in pharmacy benefit management or similar.
2+ years progressive leadership experience.
Industry experience preferred in PBM or related field.
Experience with financial valuation models preferred.
Compliance program participation expected.
Ability to interact with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Manage pricing and underwriting for new business, renewal business, client pricing requests, RFP responses, finalist presentations, and ad hoc analyses.
Lead, coach, and train supervisors and analysts to ensure accurate pricing, underwriting, and risk analysis deliverables.
Interpret claims utilization, network pricing, rebates, administrative fees, trends, and profitability to inform pricing recommendations.
Develop and maintain pricing, risk evaluation, and client profitability models.
Evaluate pricing risk and client value to support Navitus’ objectives.
Maintain underwriting guidelines and approval processes to ensure compliant pricing.
Participate in client meetings and internal strategy discussions to present pricing approaches and financial risk.
Support leadership reporting on pricing, underwriting, profitability, risk exposure, and performance metrics.
Identify process improvements, model enhancements, and training opportunities.
Mentor and develop team members to build future leaders.
Other duties as assigned.
