Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, BESS, and industrial power projects.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy, coordinating with engineering, operations, and clients to ensure seamless handoff from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards; ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through construction turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals; ensure alignment with schedules and budgets.
