Job summary

Fujifilm Sonosite is seeking a Scientific Applications Specialist to provide technical field support for VisualSonics products, specializing in high-resolution ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging. This US-based role requires travel to customer sites and training facilities to educate users and demonstrate product value.

The position emphasizes pre-sales demonstrations, customer success through training, and collaboration with product management to incorporate user feedback.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in a relevant scientific discipline preferred.
• Extensive experience in preclinical imaging.
• Willingness to travel within the US and internationally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales demonstrations of ultrasound and photoacoustic equipment at client sites and training facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers on new equipment, on-site or at training facilities.
• Offer pre-installation and post-installation application support for VisualSonics products.
• Deliver specialized and general presentations about products and developments at customer sites and conferences.
• Collect user feedback to support product development and potential feature requests.
