Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a precertification nurse for a remote role, ideally with Virginia licensure or willingness to obtain compact licensure. The role involves reviewing clinical information from providers to authorize procedures and coordinate Medical Director referrals as needed.

Strong computer and multi-system navigation skills are required. This telework position supports patients and providers, with standard weekday hours, occasional weekends, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Active RN license in resident state with an Associate degree
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• Willing to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasional weekends/holidays
• Proficient with multiple systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical criteria and guidelines for precertification
• Collect and review clinical information from providers
• Authorize procedures/services or initiate Medical Director referrals as needed
