Qualifications

• PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of APPIC-member Doctoral Internship.
• Interest or experience with first responders.
• NPI number is required.
• Professional malpractice insurance of $1M/$3M is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat First Responders and families.
• Conduct intakes for First Responders.
• Provide evidence-based mental health counseling and psychotherapy.
• Develop culturally appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
• Set SMART goals with clients and monitor progress.
• Deliver didactic presentations and CEU training as needed.
