Job summary

Uwill is seeking a Portuguese-speaking Licensed Therapist to provide teletherapy to college students. This 1099 independent contractor role offers remote, part-time scheduling and a flexible work setup across the US.

The position emphasizes immediacy, student choice, and culturally competent care in a telehealth format. Minimum qualifications include a Master's in a mental-health field, an active license, two years of telehealth experience, and comfort delivering services in Portuguese.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental-health field.
• At least 2 years of telehealth therapy experience using multiple modalities.
• Independent clinical license allowing unsupervised practice (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD).
• Comfortable providing sessions in Portuguese.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• HIPAA-compliant private workspace suitable for telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active clinical caseload from initial session through graduation.
• Conduct teletherapy sessions via video, phone, or chat in a telehealth environment.
• Apply evidence-based practices and tailored SMART goals.
• Document sessions within specified timeframes.
• Respond to student messages in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Uwill Clinical Support as needed.
