Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to scale and optimize its credit portfolio. You will work hands-on with portfolio metrics, risk strategies, and pricing, collaborating closely with Product and Data Science to turn data into clear, impactful decisions.

Responsibilities cover credit portfolio management, risk management, and collaboration with data science teams, with an emphasis on PD/LGD/ NPL metrics, segmentation, and pricing optimization. Remote-friendly role with global impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics or portfolio analytics.
• Strong understanding of credit risks and metrics: PD, NPL, FPD, SPD, Roll Rate, CoR.
• Knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics.

Responsibilities

• Credit Portfolio Management: analyze and monitor key metrics; participate in product pricing; develop customer segmentation; assess impact of initiatives; optimize portfolio structure.
• Risk Management: monitor risk concentration; adjust credit policy based on data; develop loan origination processes.
• Collaboration with Data Science: formulate requirements for scoring models; analyze scoring card performance; work with cash flow forecasting models.
