Job summary

LeadsOnline seeks a Director of Legislative Affairs to lead legislative monitoring, policy strategy, and government relations for a national footprint. You will translate statutory and regulatory changes into practical guidance, oversee lobbyist relationships, and collaborate with Legal and Compliance to protect and advance the company’s data practices and enforcement solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in legislative affairs, government relations, public policy, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive legislative monitoring across states and at the federal level, tracking bills, rules and regulatory developments affecting data privacy, data sourcing, and law enforcement tech.
• Translate legislative analysis into actionable guidance for Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders.
• Manage external lobbyists and consultants, coordinate registration and reporting compliance, and build relationships with legislative staff and regulators.
• Develop and drive policy positions, draft testimony and talking points, and shape proactive regulatory strategies.
