Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking a Commercial Sales Operations Project Management Intern to support the governance of the Project Management Framework and the adoption of standardized practices across Commercial Sales Operations.

The 10-week remote internship provides hands-on experience with PMO concepts, governance processes, and AI-enabled productivity tools while collaborating with project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and enhancement of PM Framework standards, templates, and best practices.
• Maintain project management artifacts such as fact sheets, BRDs, workbooks, presentations, and launch readiness docs.
• Support framework adoption by teams using approved processes, templates, and governance standards.
• Review project documentation for consistency and adherence to guidelines.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and key deliverables.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to measure framework adoption and project health.
• Document lessons learned and process improvements to mature the framework.
