Job summary

Colorado Springs Psychiatry and Mental Health is seeking a PMHNP for a remote, 1099 contractor position serving patients in Arizona. You will perform assessments, diagnose, treat, and follow up, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, prescribing meds, and maintaining EMR documentation, with flexible scheduling and telehealth-based care. Arizona licensure and ANCC PMHNP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP certification (ANCC) is required.
• Active state medical license in applicable state(s).
• DEA license or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in peer consultation and case review.
• Maintain compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
