Job summary

Rula Health is seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our contracted provider network. This is an independent contractor (1099) role with telehealth capabilities and no minimum client requirements.

We handle credentialing, billing, marketing, and insurance verification so you can focus on patient care. A CA license with ANCC PMHNP certification is preferred, with direct deposit every two weeks and fully remote practice options.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, medication management and crisis management.
• Registration with the California PMHP board or ANCC PMHNP certification where applicable.
• Ability to provide telehealth services.
• Background checks clear; HIPAA-compliant practice.
• Direct deposit every two weeks and billing/credentialing handled by the sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental health care, including diagnostic workups and treatment planning.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate.
• Address mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Collaborate with care coordination and support teams within the Rula network.
