Job summary

Your Wellness Sources is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a remote, part-time role focused on medication management with optional psychotherapy. In outpatient practice, you will evaluate patients, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address PTSD, anxiety, and depressive disorders, including veterans and underserved populations.

Required: MSN or DNP with PMHNP preparation, Maryland PMHNP license, 3+ years of PMHNP experience,

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP with preparation as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Current national board certification as a PMHNP.
• Active Maryland PMHNP authorization and a current Maryland RN license or multistate RN privilege.
• At least three years of PMHNP clinical practice, outpatient focus.
• Experience with PTSD, anxiety, depressive disorders, and co-occurring conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based medication management with monitoring of response and side effects.
• Engage patients in shared decision-making with education on options, benefits, risks.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care to PTSD/anxiety/depression patients.
• Complete timely documentation to support clinical decisions and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with therapists and primary care clinicians for coordinated care.
• Communicate clearly about follow-ups, referrals, and transitions of care.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Provide psychotherapy within training and competence with clear goals and progress notes.
