Job summary

Transitions Counseling and Consulting is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a remote role to provide psychiatry and medication management services for adolescents and adults. The role involves telehealth evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with a diverse treatment team, supported by robust back-office operations

Qualifications

• Active Arizona PMHNP license.
• Current Arizona DEA license to initiate credentialing.
• 1–2 years of independent clinical experience with adolescents and adults preferred.
• Fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
• Maintain malpractice liability coverage if contracted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for adolescents and adults.
• Order and assess laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed for comprehensive care.
• Maintain high-quality care aligned with organizational policies and accrediting standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse treatment team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize an integrated EHR for scheduling, documentation, prescription management (including EPCS), and lab orders.
• Enjoy a schedule without on-call responsibilities, with team support for scheduling and billing management.
