Job summary

Coremed LLC seeks an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our behavioral health team as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is remote/telehealth with full-time availability and a focus on delivering high-quality mental health care to diverse patients.

The PMHNP will conduct evaluations, diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions, manage medications, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, maintain EMRs, and collaborate with other clinicians.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Current DEA registration, where required.
• Experience in psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a full patient caseload independently, within applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
• Experience with telehealth and electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Provide medication management and ongoing follow-up care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered mental health services.
