Job summary

Neura Health is expanding into behavioral health and is hiring its first Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality telehealth psychiatric care to neurology patients. This part-time contract role starts with a minimum of 8 hours per week, with growth potential as the vertical scales, and multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PMHNP licensure in New York; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Board certification as PMHNP-BC (or ARNP with psychiatric specialty).
• Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority; ability to obtain DEA in additional states.
• Minimum 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience; telehealth experience preferred.
• Experience treating psychiatric co-morbidities alongside neurology, primary care, or integrated care.
• Proficiency with EHR/EMR and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric meds with neurological comorbidity care.
• Collaborate with neurology team for integrated care.
• Document encounters in the EMR accurately and promptly.
• Maintain multi-state licensure and pursue new states as needed.
• Commit to a minimum of 8 clinical hours weekly with growth.
