Job summary

New Hope Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or PA-C to join our Texas team. You will examine patients, review medical histories, interpret tests, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience with all age groups, strong communication skills, and a bilingual Spanish ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• PMHNP or PA-C with Psychiatric CAQ.
• TX license is required and current DEA registration.
• Experience with patients of all ages.
• Team player and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records.
• Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results.
• Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes.
• Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan.
• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan.
