Job summary

Husson University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the graduate PMHNP program. The position supports online learning environments, teaching didactic or clinical components and mentoring graduate nursing students.

Ideal candidates hold a DNP/PhD preferred; MSN required, PMHNP-BC certification, and at least 2 years of PMHNP clinical practice. Teaching or precepting experience is valued. This is a remote, part-time adjunct role with responsibilities across courses and program activities.

Qualifications

• DNP or PhD preferred; MSN required.
• Current RN and APRN licensure.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Minimum 2 years PMHNP clinical experience.
• Prior teaching or precepting experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned PMHNP courses within curriculum guidelines.
• Provide clinical supervision and evaluation of graduate students.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging online learning environment.
• Guide students in clinical reasoning and professional practice.
• Participate in course and program meetings as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of psychiatric/mental health practice and accreditation standards.
• Grade according to university policies for 7 week and 15 week courses.
• Collaborate with track faculty and program director as needed.
• Ensure compliance with university and licensing board requirements.
