Husson University offers a fully remote, part-time Adjunct Nurse Practitioner Faculty position to deliver high-quality online instruction and supervise graduate PMHNP students. The role supports mentoring future PMHNPs and aligns theory with clinical application across semesters.

Qualified candidates will hold a doctoral degree in nursing or related field, an active PMHNP certification, and relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

Doctorate in nursing or a related field is preferred.
NP license/certification in the specialty track if teaching core courses in that track.
Master’s degree in education or PMHNP licensure is required (track dependent).
Active United States RN licensure and PMHNP licensure are expected.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses within the online graduate PMHNP program.
Deliver course materials, lectures, and assignments per curriculum and objectives.
Provide clinical supervision and evaluation of students during their clinical rotations.
Communicate with program leadership regularly regarding student progress and issues in the course or clinical setting.
Maintain currency in clinical practice and educational best practices to ensure content remains relevant.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades in the LMS.
Collaborate with full-time faculty, Online Division and Program Administration for a cohesive educational experience.
Complete end-of-course summaries and meet with the Program Director to review evaluations.
Complete required online teaching training and university compliance.
Attend staff meetings to stay current on program policies and practices.
