Ladders is seeking a Physician Medical Director DME for a fully remote role based in the United States. The incumbent will provide physician leadership for clinical coverage reviews tied to member benefits and policy interpretation in a remote healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active unrestricted license.
• Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• 5+ years of clinical practice post-residency.
• Strong understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct coverage reviews based on member plan benefits and coverage policies.
• Document clinical review findings and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with requesting providers.
• Interpret benefit language during clinical coverage reviews.
• Participate in daily clinical rounds as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to support accurate benefit determinations.
