Qualifications

• 4 years of auditing experience with a focus on CPT and ICD-10-CM.
• Experience in coding across multiple service lines including E/M, surgical, and diagnostic procedures.
• Active coding certification such as CPC or CCS-P is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts chart audits and communicates findings.
• Implements coding reviews and develops educational materials.
• Assists in creating compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepares compliance reports for the committee.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Auditing experience

Ability to explain compliance concerns

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
