Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a remote Physician Coding Educator to support professional fee coding accuracy and physician education for Sacramento-area healthcare providers. This 26-week engagement focuses on education delivery, chart reviews, and audit-ready documentation across ASC, surgical, and outpatient settings.

The role requires 3+ years in professional fee coding, relevant certifications, and strong communication with physicians and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• CPC (AAPC) or CCS or CCS-P (AHIMA) certification required.
• 3 years experience in Professional Fee coding across physician, ASC, surgical, or outpatient settings.
• Experience with physician-facing education and ability to deliver 1:1 and group training.
• Experience conducting chart reviews, coding audits, and documentation accuracy validation.
• Knowledge of documentation standards, compliance requirements, and audit readiness practices.
• Ability to analyze coding trends, variances, and risk areas and translate into education plans.
• Proficiency in communicating with physicians, clinical staff, and revenue cycle stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Physician Coding Educators with surgical specialty backgrounds.
