Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO with active medical license in the U.S.
• Board certification is required
• 3+ years in a hospital-based practice
• Proficient with multiple computer platforms and MS Office
• Strong communication with case managers and attending physicians
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide medical necessity and compliance reviews for client hospitals
• Perform concurrent peer-to-peer reviews with payor medical directors
• Conduct written and verbal appeals on behalf of hospitals
• Meet performance and quality metrics and ensure regulatory adherence
• Respond promptly within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team
