Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. All work is fully virtual, with compensation at $35 per completed consult and $105/hour for standard 20-minute visits, increasing as shorter visit times are used.

Physicians licensed in at least five states are invited to join, with 15–20 hours per week and a flexible, independent-contractor arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history review.
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret labs as needed for high-quality decisions.
• Prescribe medications; not prescribing most controlled substances except buprenorphine for MOUD.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.

Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099, commission-based) — $105/hour at our standard 20-minute visit length, with effective pay increasing up to $210/hour as physicians transition to shorter visit times. Job Description

We're seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our team. Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role offers the opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine outside the constraints of a traditional practice. All work is fully virtual.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX ), with willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly , across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Physicians are engaged as independent contractors (1099); Form 1099 is issued annually. Required training, including buprenorphine/MOUD training where applicable, is completed as part of onboarding.
