Sevenpro is seeking a PHP Full-Stack Engineer to support and modernize an HR tech platform on a part-time basis. You will enhance an existing PHP system, add Time Tracking, payroll, and ESG modules, and ensure smooth integration with external services.

You will work closely with the client, balance priorities, and deliver incremental improvements in a remote-first setup geared for long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP experience with legacy systems.
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB databases.
• Familiarity with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
• Ability to modernize gradually without full rewrites.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the existing PHP-based HR platform.
• Analyze the current codebase, identify improvements, and propose practical solutions.
• Implement incremental modernization strategies without a full rewrite.
• Transition admin features to client self-service modules.
• Develop new modules including Time Tracking, payroll, and ESG.
• Integrate the platform with external services.
• Maintain clear client communication on priorities and progress.
• Estimate tasks accurately and meet milestones.
• Collaborate to maintain high-quality code standards.
