Job summary

Dow Inc. offers a digital internship opportunity for PhD scientists and engineers across North America, including Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and other locations.

You will be aligned to functions such as R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S, tackling data science and engineering challenges to accelerate digital evolution. You will work with domain experts to address formulation properties, process efficiency, and advanced planning, with potential for hybrid or remote collaboration and exposure to

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 in current graduate studies.

Responsibilities

• Solve diverse and open-ended problems to accelerate digital evolution in a global materials company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-priority projects in R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S.
• Apply data science, analytics, and engineering principles to improve formulation properties, manufacturing efficiency, or software platforms.
