Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, a part of The Cigna Group, seeks Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our Tech Triage Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, providers, pharmacies and internal teams, analyzing requests and routing to the appropriate team or transferring to a pharmacist when clinical intervention is required.

This role emphasizes problem solving and timely access to medications, with a structured Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• 1+ year of customer service, pharmacy, healthcare or call center experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage inbound calls from patients, providers, pharmacies, contact center representatives, and internal teams.
• Resolve non-clinical pharmacy requests within technician scope and perform warm transfers to pharmacists for clinical consultations.
• Document all interactions in pharmacy systems per company and regulatory requirements.
• Verify and update prescription information, patient profiles, and medication details.
• Deliver a professional patient experience while adhering to HIPAA and quality standards.
