Job summary

Archimedes is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Retrospective Case Management to join our team. This role can be fully remote and involves handling non-clinical work to support retrospective case management operations, documenting patient medication history, and cost information for medications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and pharmacists, managing case queues, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
• Pharmacy, Hospital, or Managed Care experience preferred.
• Benefit knowledge and experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Participate in compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver follow-up messages to physicians for case management documentation.
• Organize peer-to-peer collaboration between physicians and pharmacists.
• Manage and act as primary contact for high-cost case management and retroactive drug utilization cases.
• Manage queues and organize documents for pharmacy technician work related to case management.
• Perform retrospective case management for provider denial and low-clinical acuity cases per policies.
• Support compliance, people and culture, and learning programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
