Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist in Missouri, with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour and the possibility to work remotely. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for those starting before October 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of pharmacy or prior authorization experience.
• Pharmacy Technician License/Registration as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, insurance claims and Medicare/Medicaid basics.

Responsibilities

• Manage prior authorization requests and appeals with insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and other departments.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling patient information.
• Maintain accurate documentation of authorization details.
• Proactively monitor and renew expiring authorizations.
