Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurers by verifying benefits and processing prescription claims. This role requires state-licensed and nationally certified pharmacy technician credentials and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Locations include North Canton, OH, with a hybrid schedule (primarily remote, 1-2 days per month in person).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license (Ohio).
• National certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience in PBM/managed care.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with claims adjudication and secondary billing.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and discount card processing.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits via outbound calls and follow-ups.
• Resolve prescription and claims issues for timely adjudication.
• Coordinate with PBM services to support accurate billing.
• Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews.
• Document all correspondence and resolutions per payer/regulatory requirements.
