Job summary

Sentara Health Plan is seeking an experienced Manager, Pharmacy Benefits-Remote to lead a remote team, drive PBM design implementation, network management, and pricing strategy. You will oversee PBM configuration for all products, provide guidance on standard benefits designs, and partner with Pharmacy Compliance and Benefits Specialists to meet department goals.

Strong analytical skills and prior leadership in managed care are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of managed care experience required.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and remote team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor implementation and testing of PBM designs, networks, formularies, and pricing.
• Provide consultation on standard benefits designs and assist with PBM projects.
• Lead pharmacy benefit configuration for all products and liaise between internal pharmacy teams and PBM.
• Motivate a remote team and collaborate with Pharmacy Compliance and Benefits Specialists to meet goals.
