Job summary

Elite Insurance Group is seeking a licensed Insurance Sales Representative to generate new business and advise clients across personal and/or commercial lines. This is a fully remote position; candidates must reside in Minnesota and hold an active Minnesota P&C license.

The role emphasizes building a self-generated pipeline, prospecting, and meeting production goals with a target of $40,000+ written premium per month. Prior independent agency experience and EZLynx proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Property & Casualty license required at the time of application.
• Minnesota residency required.
• Minimum of 4 years of insurance sales experience.
• Independent agency experience strongly preferred.
• Personal lines and/or commercial lines sales experience.
• Proven ability to generate new business, close sales, and meet production goals.
• Existing book of business, referral network, or established community relationships is highly valued.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a self-generated pipeline of prospective clients.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, cold outreach, community involvement, strategic partnerships, and existing relationships.
• Leverage an existing book of business or professional network when applicable.
• Conduct consultative needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Quote, present, and close personal and/or commercial insurance policies.
• Clearly explain coverage options, exclusions, pricing, and policy terms.
• Consistently work toward or exceed monthly written premium and production goals.
• Ask clients for referrals and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle using EZLynx.
• Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with prospects to maximize close rates.
• Accurately document client interactions, quotes, applications, and pipeline activity.
• Track production metrics, including quotes completed, proposals presented, policies bound, written premium, and close rates.
