We are seeking a Performance Video Editor to join a scaling DTC pet care brand's in-house marketing team, transforming raw footage into scroll-stopping ads for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok to drive measurable conversions. You will work with a steady content flow, applying performance editing techniques to hooks, pacing, and retention, and directly observe creatives' performance metrics for

Qualifications

• 3+ years editing short-form video for DTC or ecommerce brands.
• Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proven experience editing direct-response ads for Meta, Instagram, and/or TikTok.
• Mid-level proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
• Strong fundamentals in typography, color theory, composition, and motion graphics.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create high-performing short-form video ads optimized for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok, applying performance editing techniques (hooks, pacing, re-hooks) to maximize engagement and conversions.
• Edit creator and product footage into compelling visual narratives, translating scripts into thumb-stopping content that performs across platforms.
• Source, organize, and manage B-roll and stock footage using provided subscriptions, maintaining organized asset libraries in Frame.io.
• Design marketing images, thumbnails, and social graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to support campaign deliverables.
• Track assignments and project status in ClickUp, follow naming conventions and file organization protocols, and communicate proactively about timelines, blockers, and workflow improvements.
• Iterate quickly based on performance data, suggesting improvements to editing workflows and creative processes to strengthen team output.
