Qualifications

  • Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (Required).
  • Active Pharmacist License in good standing (Required).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a clinical expert on prior authorization reviews ensuring alignment with clinical criteria and plan design.
  • Review, evaluate, and resolve all assigned clinical reviews with direct physician engagement.
  • Perform peer-to-peer reviews with providers when requested or needed.
  • Convey clinical determinations promptly to prescribers, members, and healthcare professionals per protocols.
  • Monitor and identify interventions to ensure clinical savings guarantees are met.
  • Stay informed on formulary updates, clinical programs, and internal policies.
