Job summary

SNEB in Boston, MA is seeking a Clinical Pediatric Dietitian to deliver outpatient nutritional care to children and adolescents. You will assess medical and biochemical data to create individualized care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The role supports dietetic technicians, participates in clinic activities across multiple locations with a mostly remote schedule and in-person visits, and requires MA licensure and 1–3 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Active MA Dietitian license.
• 1–3 years of acute care experience.
• Ability to supervise dietetic technicians.
• Strong communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nutritional care to patients on assigned outpatient pediatric units.
• Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs.
• Develop, document, and implement individualized nutrition care plans for pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition-related topics and dietary plans.
• Supervise daily work of the dietetic technicians.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Adhere to clinical protocols for pediatric nutrition and acute care.
• Floating between multiple outpatient locations with in-person visits on set days.
