Job summary

SlateRx seeks a Senior Analyst to support the Director of Underwriting with financial arrangements, repricing, and contract compliance. You will conduct analyses, support RFPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and better health outcomes.

You will build financial models, assess risks, and prepare responses to complex client questions, helping to quantify value across various deal structures and programs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in extracting data from pharmacy claims databases and using data analysis methods.
• Ability to quantify risk factors in PBM contracts and pricing strategies.
• Skilled at building complex financial models for scenarios, pricing and underwriting outcomes.
• Strong understanding of PBM contracts and ability to review, interpret, and negotiate terms.
• Familiar with statistical methods to evaluate data significance for underwriting decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to present findings clearly.
• Keen attention to detail with financial data, contracts, and documentation.
• Strong problem solving and data-driven recommendation skills.
• Aware of regulatory requirements in PBM operations and healthcare finance.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams including clinical and account teams.
• Committed to industry trends and professional development.
• 4 years of experience in PBM/data analytics and claims data.
• Proficient with Excel, SAS, SQL, Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing financial questionnaires for RFP processes.
• Conduct repricing exercises and retrospective analyses of deal performance for clients.
• Analyze value propositions for prospective clients and complete repricing requests.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis comparing different deal structures.
• Evaluate client ROI and opportunities from SlateRx programs.
• Provide responses to complex questions from internal resources and teams.
• Produce gross-to-net cost comparisons to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with clinical teams on financial scorecards for planning.
• Address financial inquiries from administration and analytics teams.
• Oversee and train team members on underwriting projects.
• Adjust variables in repricing data to meet RFP requirements.
• Contribute to initiatives to improve processes and procedures.
• Quantify impact of benefit designs on utilization and costs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
