Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for a remote patient monitoring role. You will watch patients via camera, communicate with patients and nursing staff, and help prevent falls and other safety incidents.

The position requires completion of a CNA program, basic safety awareness, HIPAA compliance, and good communication skills. Eligible candidates will work with nursing teams to maintain patient welfare remotely and report changes to the primary RN.

Qualifications

• Basic medical situational awareness of patient safety requirements.
• Fully cognizant of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients via remote camera and two-way audio to ensure safety.
• Direct patients when actions imperil safety and call for nursing support when needed.
• Observe behaviors indicating fall risk, elopement risk, or potential harm and report promptly to RN.
