Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to monitor patients remotely and support the care team in preventing falls, injuries, or self-harm. This role focuses on safeguarding patient privacy and coordinating with clinicians to maintain safe, compassionate care.

You will work from a remote station, documenting changes and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality outcomes for the patients we serve.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, or Satori Alternatives Manag Aggr must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Previous medical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork
