Job summary

Virtual Nursing Services, LLC seeks a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to provide continuous observation of admitted patients at our Franklin, TN site. You will use two-way audio software to guide patients and promptly inform bedside staff of safety concerns, documenting actions and outcomes.

This role requires 1-2 years' acute care experience, CNA/MA certification preferred, and a reliable attendance record. It is a full-time, day-shift on-site position supporting patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1-2 years experience as CNA/MA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of up to 16 patients and report unsafe activities.
• Notify nursing staff immediately when assistance is required.
• Use two-way audio software to redirect patients as needed.
• Manage shift hand-offs with detailed patient behaviour reports.
• Document interventions and communications with bedside staff.
• Escalate patient safety risks promptly to hospital personnel.
• Assist in training new staff and conduct competency checks.
• Adhere to patient safety, privacy, and hospital policies.
• Pursue ongoing education on virtual sitter practices and technologies.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
