Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. You will greet patients, register them and schedule/authorize appointments, and provide support to referring professionals.

This is a full-time remote role with a typical 8:30am–5:00pm shift, totaling 40 hours per week. Candidate should have 1+ years in Registration or Scheduling, strong Microsoft Office skills, and proficiency with computer systems and typing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years in Registration or Scheduling role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proficient with using computer systems and typing.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient examinations and coordinates with insurance per company policy.
• Arranges transportation and hotel accommodations when appropriate.
• Communicates scheduling changes to the team to maintain patient satisfaction.
• Pre-certifies/authorizes exams with insurance as required and verifies medical necessity.
• Handles release of information requests following company guidelines.
• Facilitates follow-up contact with patients for future appointments.
