Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist to help franchises collect patient balances and optimize reimbursement. You will verify patient responsibilities, process payments, and establish payment plans while collaborating with locations and leadership.

The role requires familiarity with self-pay processes, strong communication, and strict confidentiality under HIPAA. This position supports the nationwide Vital Care network from within the United States.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior self-pay collections experience, preferably in infusion or medical settings.
  • Excellent communication and confidentiality, HIPAA compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Research accounts to determine correct self-pay balances.
  • Review benefits verification and admission agreements to determine patient responsibilities.
  • Process patient payments and set up payment arrangements.
  • Identify accounts for write-offs or further collection actions.
  • Educate patients about out-of-pocket expenses and PAP programs.
  • Maintain clear financial communication with patients, caregivers, and franchisees.
