Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student intern for the Supply Chain Center. This part-time, fully remote internship runs for up to 12 months, starting in May 2027, and involves supporting department projects and administrative tasks.

The role offers exposure to operations, finance, and communications within a healthcare system and includes participation in team meetings and process shadowing to learn the organization.

Qualifications

• Student in business fields (Operations & Supply Chain, Finance, Communications, Marketing, HR, legal, etc.), in their third or fourth year of undergrad.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates and is involved in a variety of projects that support the needs of the department / facility.
• Attends team / department meetings and actively participate / take on opportunities to share knowledge and skills.
• Gains knowledge of the department's / facilities functions; may job shadow various roles.
• Works with other members of the department / facility to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Project Assistance: may be assigned one or more specific projects during the internship; works independently or as part of a team.
• Miscellaneous: Provides staff operational / clerical support to the department / facility as needed.
