Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher to deliver content online to students nationwide. This part-time role offers up to 25 hours per week with instructional hours commonly from 9–5 EST, or 8–4 depending on school needs.

The position requires a state-certified teacher and the ability to travel up to 20% for occasional in-person activities. Candidate must hold a valid high school certification and be capable of working from a distraction-free home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active teaching license required.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Experience collaborating with teachers and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Personalizes learning for all students and differentiates instruction by mastery level.
• Maintains grade book and informs administrators about student progress and needs.
• Prepares students for high-stakes standardized tests and accountability measures.
• Communicates with families/learning coaches regularly in a timely manner.
• Supports learners with technology and platform challenges in a virtual classroom.
