Qualifications

• Professional experience planning and directing municipal parks and recreational services.
• Ability to build partnerships and conduct needs assessments.
• Experience with budgeting, grants, and financial reporting.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct municipal parks and recreation services.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and engage residents.
• Coordinate with Town leadership, Parks & Recreation Commission and stakeholders.
• Lead program design, launch new activities, and evaluate impact.
• Oversee facility operations, scheduling, and safety collaboration with Public Works.
• Manage budget, procurement, contracts, and grant opportunities.
• Supervise seasonal staff and volunteers; provide staff guidance.
